Lil Bit Local

We believe there's room for all of us. Our communities are stronger when we support one another, celebrate what makes each business unique, and recognize the corazón behind the work.

That's why we believe competition isn't a disqualifier.

Character is the qualifier.

Every business has a story. We're here for the heart behind it. A business is more than what it sells, the services it provides, or the sign hanging above its door. It's the reason someone took a chance on a dream. The person who shows up when the community needs them. The small acts of kindness, the causes championed, and the people who make a difference without asking for recognition. That's the heart we're looking for. Lil Bit Local was created to help the corazón—the heart—behind local businesses shine. We're not here to rank businesses by popularity or decide that competition makes one business more deserving than another. We're here to discover the people, purpose, and community spirit that make our local business community special. Your heart story helps us see what a listing alone never could. Competition isn't a disqualifier. Character is the qualifier. Know a business with a story worth sharing? We'd love to hear it.

The corazón behind our community.

Genoa

We promise to look beyond what a business sells and recognize the heart behind it.

We will value character over competition, community over self-promotion, authenticity over numbers, and integrity over opportunity. We will remain thoughtful in whom we recognize and transparent in how we operate.

We will measure our success not by how many businesses join or how much attention we receive, but by the connections we create, the good we help shine a light on, and the trust we earn.
